But a good time was had by all.

A fabulous hot and sunny day in June. I ended up with a house and garden full of neighbours ranging in ages from 74 to 6. We had a massive barbeque, argued about the football, drank too much and got very wet when a water fight commenced. Photographs of my personal entry into the Ms Wet Tee Shirt Competition will not, you will be relieved to hear, be appearing here.

A great start to the World Cup month.

The phrase Ms wet tee shirt is a marvelous attempt to make a very tabloid image sound politically correct and dignified! It was a bit disappointing yesterday wasn't it and I think there was general agreement in my lcal pub that we could have fielded 11 better players between ourselves. I think it will be 6-nil on thursday though

their goalie certainly earned his pesos though didn't he but we had to turn down the contrast on the TV as a result of the glare from the ref's hair.

I suspect there will be something similar here later - just started filling the paddling pool, the one we bought not for the kids, but for the dog!

Arthur, so now we know the reason for the world wide shortage of Brylcream.

S.P..there is nothing as good as a water fight on a hot hot afternoon.
