Our match was postponed yesterday and for the first time this season Reidski's Millwall went above my beloved Cobblers - and we play each other on Tuesday.

It will be dark when we kick off so no starlings to bring us good fortune.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear and very many more oh dear's indeed.

Don't you mean - we play WITH each other on Tuesday with Millwall getting on top of Northampton from the first whistle. At half time you can have half an orange for sustenance.

Don't get carried away just yet dearest!

Cookie - any team achieving the dizzy heights of 15th needs no concern from me - although actually looking at your goal difference maybe it does.

YP - your version sounds far more interesting than any old football match.

Having seen the scoreline I hope you rub it in big style, he deserves it for his superior than everyone timmery.

I notice that both of your tema have - goal differences, both of which are better than ours I must add. Shit defending???? That's our excuse and a bad goalie who has now been banished.

I never realised Scubthorpe United were doing so well. I have a softspot for them, they were my other English Team following Liverpooll, on account of spending some time their in 1966, where I watched many World Cup games as an Engerland supporter. Gasp!

Jim - you were an Engerland supporter??!! Now that is a revelation!

God how many typos were in that last comment? Anyways I was briefly an England supporter in 1966. I was at my aunt and uncle's place in Scunthorpe for about three weeks during the school holidays. I was 8 and had a World Cu Willie hat. The place was football crazy and I didn't realise that tribal emnities needed suckling. I never even saw the final. We travelled home by train that day.
