If anyone was unfortunate enough not to see Jeremy Paxman's programme about Wilfred Owen there is an article by him about it here.
It must have been good because after I had insisted on watching it I found my 16 year old checking out some of Owen's poems.

I know I've hit 1 12-darter and 2 13-darters previously, so I shouldn't
care so much for a 14-darter nowadays but it still hits the spot for me.

As poetry goes, he was one off the few who did it for me.
Same here! I was mesmerised by 'Dulce et decorum est', I think it was, at school, ooh, over a quarter of a century ago!
