Daily Mail watch

Apparently Liz Hurley (aged 43) is looking 15 years older than she looked 15 years ago.

So says a male 'journo' who sadly does not show us photos of himself 15 years ago. This is a shame as no doubt we women could learn a thing or two from him about how to hold back time.

Is it anyone* we women have hang ups about getting older?

She looks bloody lovely FF'sS.

* As Yorkshire Pudding has pointed out - this should of course read 'is it any wonder...' The perils of blogging when in a rush and annoyed with the vile and despicable Daily Mail.

I look younger in my 50s than ever I did in my 30s, which was definately not a decade that was kind to me.In that I don't look my age now and looked a lot older then.

Strangely enough I look 15 years older than I did 15 years ago! Who would have thought it eh? I thought journalists were supposed to cutting edge stuff like expose the watergate scandal, corruption in high places etc. It seems like they get paid for stating the obvious nowadays.

Sorry Griselda, I don't wish to be pedantic but..."Is it anyone we women have hang ups about getting older?" Should surely read "Is it any wonder..." Clearly it's not just youthful looks women lose as they grow older but also barrowloads of brain cells! Please feel free to delete this and correct the untypical error. I won't be offended if you do.

Ah, I too look fifteen years older now then I did fifteen years ago. But Liz is still rather impressive.

Interesting story in the sidebar about a granny marrying a toyboy 39 years younger than she is. Apparently he's not bothered by her wrinkles!

Stupid comment by a silly man - of course people are going to look older as they get older. I too would love to see a picture of him, or rather, two pictures: one fifteen years ago, one up to date.

Fire Byrd - state of mind definitley does have a lot to do with the way we look.

W??? Eek! Will have a good think about that.

Thomas - I am stoney broke if you are trying to sell anything.

Reidski - Glad you fully appreciated it!

Gill - and paid for writing sheer bloody spite - in the paper allegedly aimed at women too.

Lines duly done sir. I am a fool.

Joe - she is gorgeous.

Jay - thanks for mentioning that other story - gives hope to all of us the wrong side of 40. I have a younger man too - I hope he doesn't mind that I don't look as young as I did 15 years ago.

I look 15 years older now than I did 3 years ago, when I looked 6 years younger than my real age. I looked my real age 25 years later.

How old am I?
