to be seen in the women's changing room at my gym are varied. We come in all shapes and sizes, and people can be quite imaginative when it comes to body piercings.
But my question this evening is this:
Why the bloody hell would any grown woman get a tattoo of Mickey Mouse on her arse?

In all my years living in Sheffield, I have rarely visited Norfolk Park -
to the south east of the city but I went there again today. Above, I am

Because she is a human being whose never grown up and needs to identify with a personality that reflects her social norms... or she's a complete tit!

She might be american. Or she might have had it done when she was young. Or maybe she used to work for Disney.
I've thought and thought and I have absolutely no idea! To indicate the size of her husband's penis maybe? Because she likes to do it mousy style? dandelion's comment worries me- is it compulsory for all Americans to be branded with Disney characters at birth?
Pixie - I suspect the later!
Dandelion - that's one of the things that worries me about tattoos. They have the Winnie the Pooh tattoo when aged 16 = reasonably cute I suppose. They still have it some years on when they have got older and larger = bloody awful.
Gill - I very much fear that if all Americans are not already branded with The Mouse at birth, they very soon will be.
Maybe of course, her bloke has 'a thing' about The Mouse? Unpleasant thought - sorry.
Maybe she wasnt a grown woman when she got the tattoo??

I, like Gill, wondered about dandelion's comment about the woman being American. What the hell has that got to do with it?
Anyway, in answer to your question JJ, it could be just because she wanted to!
Was she fucking goofy?
My daughter in law has tweety bird on her ankle. I haven't asked about others (my son is bigger than me)
Anybody with any self respect, self-confidence and understanding of the processes of time and society would not have a tattoo of any description - be it Mickey Mouse or a map of the world. I recently heard a desription of those designs that some women have on their lower backs - just above the waistline - tramp stamp. Most appropriate I think.
someone at work told me about a wedding she went to - the bride was decked out in a gorgeous dress that had quite a low back and a sheer wrap. the only thing that spoiled the effect was the enormous darth vader tattoo on her back!
Polgara - that could be it of course.
Reidski - stop being so tolerant!
John - I would say so :-)
Joe - Oh dear! She will regret that.
YP - I hadn't heard that term before but it's appropriate.
Karen - very funny - and serves the stupid woman right.
