Police are appealing for information after two men climbed a garden fence to steal a chicken from a Northampton garden.
Witnesses or anyone with information about the whereabouts of the chicken is asked to contact police on 03000 111 222 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

I've seen it in my mum's back garden. Or is it that just one of the ones that comes from the field behind her house? Chickens all look the same to me. Oh dear I'm so racist.

Awwww! Sounds so funny at first, and then you get to thinking, she was probably someone's pet, and now she was probably someone's dinner ... it would be very distressing to lose a chuckie like that.
Maybe she just wandered off and will be back soon?

MOB - the police will currently be carrying out forensic tests on approximately 345,786 BBQ's in the vacinity.
Jay - it would be horrible if it was someone's pet. Still - the owner got one of the two nicked chickens back so maybe there will be a happy ending after all?
