Count Gottfried von Bismarck, who was found dead on Monday aged 44, was a louche German aristocrat with a multi-faceted history as a pleasure-seeking heroin addict, hell-raising alcoholic, flamboyant waster and a reckless and extravagant host of homosexual orgies.
For those of you who inexplicably do not make a habit of reading the Telegraph obits this one is a classic.
A short life, but hardly dull.

Have to agree with gill, a true classic. It just marginally tops the first one.
So many great lines, but yes my love, the last one is a line to treasure.
